Weed Man was started in 2008 by husband and wife team Roger and Irene Searle. Business grew rapidly and their son, David, with a background in greenkeeping, was invited to help. Mainly fuelled by recommendations and word of mouth, business has grown year on year and rebranded to Eco Lawns in 2024. We now employ a small team of fully qualified professionals who have been trained to do things the Eco Lawns way.

Irene has a background rooted in customer service and is committed to ensuring our customers always come first – this dedication to excellence and looking after our customers has become a cornerstone of what we do.
It is David who likes to keep up to date with the technical part of the business, ensuring that Eco Lawns is using modern practices and the latest hardware to ensure that the work we do is to as high a possible standard every time.
Roger is the real powerhouse of the business, his knowledge extends well beyond simple “lawn care”, and he is really able to work out the best course of action for every customer, in every circumstance. On top of this it is his business acumen that has put Eco Lawns on the map. Aided by a fantastic team of technicians who are always keen to learn, he has been a major contributor to the ever-growing popularity of Eco Lawns - and has no plans to stop anytime soon!
